Stress can put a heavy weight on to our ability to truly enjoy the holiday season. But there is a special secret weapon we can use to lift that weight and make the holidays soar.
That special weapon is laughter. Too often stress will make us feel heavy and overwhelmed but a little laughter can eliminate the darkness and remind us of the joy and light of the holidays.Remember each day to have some fun and laugh out loud. Watch a funny movie together, make jokes while baking cookies, giggle while wrapping gifts, or ( my particular favorite) listen to classic BIll Cosby recordings while driving to the mall.
Whatever you choose, be sure to laugh, a lot.
A little laughter every day helps make things less overwhelming, releases calming chemicals into your body, and will make the stress melt away.
