It's really hard to be on time during the busy holiday season. There seem to be long lines everywhere, at the checkout, at the gas station, at the post office. And traffic gets more challenging as Christmas gets closer.
Knowing how busy everything is during the holiday rush, the best way to not get stressed out is to be early.
It's hard to be early when you have many holiday commitments, but being late can be very stressful. Try to leave earlier by getting ready earlier, or by scheduling more space between events.
During the holidays things always take longer than normal, so schedule some buffer time: extra time to get ready, to commute, to shop, and to cook.
If you get somewhere early, take that time to do a stress reduction exercise such as listening to music, taking a little walk, or breathing.
The holidays can be fun and the earlier you can be somewhere the less stress you will feel.
